Farmstead of Ringoes

Relatively new to the wedding venue scene is the Farmstead of Ringoes. Just off of Route 202 in Hunterdon County, it’s minutes away from New Hope, Lambertville, Princeton and Bucks County, Pa. Its expansive property reaches back to picturesque hills and the Black River & Western Railroad. Yes, a train. Owners Bill and Sheryl Davis have partnered with Black River & Western to offer a variety of unique options for your wedding day. The Farmstead train stop is located right on the Farmstead of Ringoes property. This means you may elect to arrive by train to your ceremony. What an unusual entrance for a bride to make! Cocktail hour may also take place on the train, and train tours for your guests can be arranged.

The Farmstead of Ringoes ceremony location with wooden arbor, hay bales, barrels and chairs backs up to fields and also the Black River & Western Railroad, where a bride has a option to make her entrance.

This is a wonderful rustic, farm-chic wedding venue. The photo opportunities are endless in this relaxed, farm-inspired wedding location. A dedicated wedding concierge is included to help out with anything and everything throughout the day. The venue can accommodate 150 guests, and a tented reception is also an option.

The bride can get ready in an actual Sears house, built from a kit sold by Sears in the early part of the 20th century. It’s charming and has a kitchen, dining room, sitting room and a bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. Your hair and makeup professionals could set up easily upstairs to attend to you and your wedding party.

The historic train depot is provided for the groom and his groomsmen to get ready in, or just hang out until ceremony time. The ceremony location looks out onto picturesque hills and is an ideal spot to watch the bride emerge for her processional if she elects to arrive on the train. The historic barn is wonderful for cocktail hour or smaller sit-down dinners, and the sunlight filtering through is heavenly. Guests can also engage in a variety of yard games on the spacious grounds, and fire pits are provided for hanging out at the end of the evening.

Yard games get the guests involved, or can they can elect to watch as everyone has a great time.

A bonfire is another option offered. It makes for a romantic end of the night photo, and your guests will love it as a place to hang out and chill at the end of your evening.
