WHY YOUR WEDDING NEEDS TO BE IN NEW HOPE

Are you looking for eclectic small-town charm combined with chic avant-garde style? Or perhaps rustic, romantic, vintage-inspired or elegant?

New Hope offers every theme or concept imaginable for your wedding. There are venues with a rustic chic style, such as Holly Hedge Estate. There’s country French, such as Hotel du Village. And there’s all-new yet rustic contemporary with a more edgy vibe such as River House at Odette’s, a brand-new wedding venue in New Hope with a fall of 2020 scheduled opening.

Holly Hedge Estate, which has been hosting weddings since the early 90’s, is well-known for its gorgeous courtyard and historic barn and one-wedding-a day-approach. It’s a long-time favorite family-owned wedding venue offering personalized service.

Hotel du Village is a historic, French county estate that actually began its existence as an all-girls school. It was a restaurant that also hosted weddings for a number of years (under the same name) and is now one of the Landmark Hospitality Venues owned and operated by Frank and Jeanne Cretella. Two lovely bridal suites are available, and they can comfortably accommodate two weddings simultaneously in European elegance.

Bucks County Pennsylvania is rich in history and natural beauty. It’s an ideal location for weddings, whether you choose the always-trending town of New Hope, stately Doylestown or scenic Perkasie. Located just outside Philadelphia and Princeton but also not far from New York, Bucks County Pennsylvania offers everything for a bride found in the larger cities, but with easy accessibility. These New Hope wedding venues are close to antique shops, artisanal boutiques and quaint restaurants. There is shopping, wineries, live music, entertainment, a playhouse, history, and dining.

Before I get started with wedding establishments in Bucks County, I want to pass along a great tip that not many brides and grooms would think of when searching for their wedding venue:

Meet the day-of coordinator for your event on your first venue meeting if at all possible. Just like photographers, that person will be working with you your entire day, and their personality and approach is crucial to a good working relationship.

Here are several very unique New Hope wedding venues which really stand out from the crowd.
