Tony is a musician, and I’ve seen him perform with his band at countless weddings over the years. I saw him perform at another wedding this summer. But this time was different. This time it was his own.

Stacey and Tony were married on a recent summer day at the Chelsea Sun Inn, and music was a huge part of their wedding day. From him warming up in the groom’s suite pre-ceremony to the final notes at the end, it was a day of music, love and emotion. The Franklin and Alison Orchestra played at their wedding, all friends and fellow band-mates of Tony and Stacey. Tony took up guitar just to serenade his bride, and then surprised his mom during the mother-son dance with his incredible rendition of “What A Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong. He literally had his mother crying in his arms. It was truly wonderful and memorable.

Here are a few of my favorite images from their day of love and music:

The wedding rings dangle from one of the pieces of art in the beautiful gold and white bridal suite.

Groom plays sax in room

Meanwhile Tony warms up in the groom’s suite as a day of music is planned.

The perfect spot to practice his saxophone; beside the jacuzzi in the bathroom!

There are so many great spots for photos and portraits; here’s Stacey at the front of the Inn.

The large windows also have amazing light for portraits!

bride gets in trolley at Chelsea Sun Inn

Stacey leaves for the ceremony. This trolley carries guests and also wedding parties to the ceremony site at the top of the hill. The ride is just a few minutes and it’s pulled by tractor!

Stacey and her daughter Maddie enjoy ride out to the hills. You can see the Chelsea Sun Inn behind them.

Music in the hills, and the Chelsea Sun Inn can be seen in the valley below.

A candid shot of Tony checking out the wedding ring just after being married.

Bride, groom, clouds, view of the Poconos.

What an absolutely incredible view, which looks out over the Delaware Water Gap.

Some playful moments. Tony and Stacey has a lot of those!!

bride, groom, first dance

Tony takes Stacey’s hand for the start of their first dance.

Tony is incredible on saxophone, and he’s a member of the Franklin and Alison Orchestra, which just happens to be the wedding band at their wedding! Here the extremely talented Catrice Joseph sings their first dance song “A Song for You” by Donny Hathaway.

Tony learned guitar just so he could play a special song for Stacey. Then he joined the band on sax.

Another special moment when Tony danced with his mom. He surprised her with singing “What a Wonderful World” by Louis Armstrong.

The horn section surprises Tony and his mom with a solo. It was very touching and emotional and there was not a dry eye.
