This bride and groom shared an impromptu wedding dance along the Delaware and Raritan Canal in Stockton, New Jersey. This sweet moment between the couple took place behind Prallsville Mills, which is an historic grist mill built in 1877, and still filled with the antique milling machinery.
The grist mill is actually part of a 10-building historic complex which also includes a 1790 linseed oil mill, a 1850 saw mill and a 1900 grain silo. The 11-acre property is available for weddings as well as corporate events, and managed for these occasions by Landmark Venues.
Landmark Venues is owned by Frank and Jeanne Cretella. They have a 25-year history of restoring historic landmarks into beautiful and unusual event venues in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. They also own and operate The Boathouse at Mercer Lake, Liberty House, The Ryland Inn, Stone House at Stirling Ridge, Hotel du Village and the Logan Inn. Both Hotel du Village and The Logan Inn are located in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
