A National Historic Landmark, the Pearl S Buck Estate sits on 68 picturesque acres in Perkasie. This property has a red barn, a greenhouse, and the Nobel and Pulitzer Prize winner author’s 1825 historic farmhouse. Conveniently located, Pearl Buck is close to Doylestown, Quakertown and offers quaint shopping and restaurants nearby. It also hosts weddings.
I’ve photographed Pearl Buck Estate ceremonies out on the beautiful manicured lawns and gardens. They can also be in their Estate Pavilion or barn if it should rain. There are many set up scenarios for the outdoor ceremonies, and all offer wonderful views. Guests can enter the lawn for ceremonies through the historic and picturesque trio of impressive stone archways. Cocktail hour is held on the beautiful slate patio surrounded by perennial gardens, and spill out onto the lawn. Guests have the option to tour Pearl Bucks home during the relaxed cocktail hour.
Receptions are held in the Estate Pavilion, with options to upgrade the roof. Dancing under a clear tent with stars above is awesome. The Estate pavilion can host up to 300 for dinner and dancing. Historic stone archways and a rustic greenhouse all provide great backgrounds for creative wedding photography.
Jamie Hollander Catering and Events is the exclusive caterer and handles all events at the Pearl S Buck Estate.
