I often take night photographs with my brides and groom. Personally, I like dramatic lighting, and creating something artistic as the end of the day is pretty exciting for me. In this instance however, I used minimal additional lighting, and placed it behind my couple. It can be seen illuminating the groom’s face and as a hair light on the bride. I kept the landscaping lights in the frame because I liked the patterns they produced surrounding the nearly-silhouetted couple.
