This couple was married in the bride’s family church, which she had attended all of her life. Since it was special to them, I wanted to incorporate other features of the building in addition to the altar and front of the church. I thought the horizontal lines were really striking, and I posed them to make the most of this interesting pattern. I think the texture of the weathered paint also adds to the pictorial element in this wedding photograph.
